messagingleaving is a Taipei-based creative practice established by Chialing Chang1 in 2021. With a thoughtful exploration of industrial production and craftsmanship, the studio engages in diverse disciplines, spanning design objects, installations, and experimental works. Drawing insights from pure materiality and physical phenomena, messagingleaving gives presence to elements through a nuanced balance between functionality and meditative quality.

messagingleaving 是位於台北的創意實踐，2021年由張家翎1創立。其作品廣泛運用不同媒材，並融合材料性質、結構與製程的細膩思考，在工業量化與工藝文化的平衡之中，開展為家具物件、雕塑、裝置藝術等多元形式。

張家翎，現居台北的設計師和藝術家。於台灣接受產品設計教育後赴日本東京，進入 Jin Kuramoto Studio 任產品設計師，期間與諸多國際品牌合作；於2019年及2022年分別獲日本大型藝術設計展會 Designart Tokyo 評選為 Under30 新銳藝術家。2020年於瑞士洛桑藝術與設計學院（ECAL）奢侈品與工藝設計學系取得碩士學位，以跨足東、西方的經驗，探索屬於自身的跨領域取徑。
