Bluing Series–Tube–Furniture

Bluing Series looks into the effects of the thermal treatment known as “bluing,” where controlled heat transforms the surface of stainless steel, shifting its color from radiant gold to red-brown, then deep purple, before settling into a blend of deep blue and soft gray. 

Picture industrial pipes exposed to precise temperatures, their surfaces undergoing a spectrum of hues. This chromatic transformation seamlessly integrates into furniture objects, where clean structural forms intersect with mirrored abstractions, reflecting an otherworldly interplay of colors.

〈藍鏡系列〉實驗火燒鋼材的發藍工藝，以高溫火烤使不鏽鋼材表面形成金黃至靛藍的色彩質變，融合於家具物件之中。俐落的結構造型，疊合鏡像的抽象視覺，反射出不思議的色彩。

系列最初於 2022 年東京設計藝術展 Designart Tokyo 中以小型物件及材料形式呈現，Tube–Furniture 進一步拓展至家具家飾，應用工業規格管材發展為立鏡、邊桌兩件品項， 於 2024 年米蘭設計展發表。
